We chose nobility as one of our core pillars for a reason – it stands out in today’s world.

Noble (no·ble):
having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals.

These days it’s all about ‘my truth’, ‘myself’ and ‘what I want’. It’s expected that everyone is only looking out for number one. If you want to get ahead, you’re supposed to step over and tear down whoever is in the way without a second thought.

That’s not the way we want to roll.

We want to point our focus outward and instead think of ways that ‘I’ can help others. To be a light in the darkness, to build others up, to encourage and to be selfless.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to build nobility:

• Give generously
  • Find a cause to donate to. Don’t know of any? Here’s a few:
    • Destiny Rescue
    • Salvation Army
    • Find a charity that you love – Charity Watch
• Go help
  • Volunteer your time and talent at a local outreach program
    • Habitat for Humanity
    • Urban Vision
  • Visit a foreign country to help those in need there

• Care deeply
  • When you’re out running errands, take time to talk to people (while maintaining a safe, social distance of course).
    • Ask the person at the checkout how their day is going.
    • Talk to the older man or woman who is shopping by themselves.
  • Check in on your family and neighbors. It’s never been easier. Here are a few ways to do it:
